I specialize in preserving the joy and love of life's most important events, with a particular passion for weddings.
My journey with photography began in my teens, sparking a lifelong dedication to the art.  After honing my skills through an apprenticeship at a leading commercial studio and years of experience in the Kannapolis area, I launched Ken Thomas Photography in 2005.  In 2007, I opened my portrait studio in historic downtown Concord.
While I photograph a variety of subjects, weddings are my true calling.  Since photographing my first wedding in 2005, I've had the privilege of documenting over 660 weddings, each a unique and unforgettable experience.  The joy and emotion of these celebrations resonate deeply with me, and I'm committed to capturing the authentic story of each couple's special day.
More than just posed portraits, I focus on the candid moments, the fleeting glances, and the genuine emotions that make your wedding day so special.  From the pre-ceremony jitters to the celebratory dances, I'll preserve every precious detail, creating lasting memories you'll treasure forever.
I'm proud of the awards that I have received, but my greatest reward is the opportunity to witness my wedding couple's lives unfold.  It's incredibly fulfilling to photograph their anniversaries, maternity sessions, newborn portraits, and other family milestones.  After two decades, I'm now capturing graduations and sporting events for the children of some of my earliest wedding couples – a true testament to the power of photography and the enduring connections I've built.
